Visualize Coordinates

Play with two 20-face dice

Our flagship product is an innovative board game designed to make learning coordinate systems fun and intuitive. Students use two 20-sided dice (one white for Y, one black for X), numbered from -10 to +10, to determine movement on a grid.
The game board features a grid centered at (0,0), extending from -10 to +10 in both X and Y directions. After each dice roll, students plot their new position and then apply the Pythagorean theorem to calculate the distance of their piece from the origin (0,0). This hands-on activity solidifies their understanding of:
- Cartesian Coordinates (X, Y plotting)
- Distance Formula (Pythagorean Theorem in action)
- The concept of an origin and relative positions
- Foundational skills for map reading and navigation
"The board game enhances the understanding of the coordinate system as a foundation for viewing maps."
